What went right on Oscar night? Jessie Buckley's speech turned into a sweet moment, while Billy Crystal reminded everyone of how much we owe in entertainment to the late, murdered Rob Reiner and his wife. And ... that was about it, as Christian makes clear. All of the stupidly woke tropes reappeared, even those whose messages have actually expired. Jane Fonda could barely utter a coherent thought, except for her Main Character Syndrome when it came to remembering Robert Redford. And no one bothered to remember Brigitte Bardot at all, for which both Christian and Ed have their suspicions.
We also look at the plummeting fortunes of The Bride!, and the death knell of wokery for woke's sake. Speaking of which, Rachel Zegler is back at it.
