Has Hollywood hit superhero fatigue? Not this week, anyway, as the new Spiderman movie prepares to open in every cinema in the world. Christian and Ed review the box-office expectations, and they are unbelievable. Literally. It seems impossible for the new film to meet these expectations, but if they do, no one will be talking about "fatigue" for a while. And that may be a bigger problem for Hollywood.
Christian and Ed also discuss the strength of The Odyssey in its second week, and delve into a very weird feud between director Christopher Nolan and interpreter Emily Wilson. We also look at the new charm offensive from Ryan Reynolds, and discuss what we may still see in the Dune sequel coming this fall.
