Has King Charles Become a Muslim? It Seemed a Ridiculous Rumor, But...

I have almost laughed off the rumors that King Charles III had secretly converted to Islam.

It seemed so ridiculous, based on the mysterious tolerance that the British government has had toward the increasing radicalization of Islamists in Great Britain. Muslims are closing down streets to perform mass prayers, seemingly as an expression of dominance. The tolerance for rape gangs. I have covered so many of these issues that I won't repeat myself here.

Rudy Giuliani flat-out stated that Charles had converted on Piers Morgan's show, but that seemed absurd. The king is literally the Supreme Governor of the Church of England in addition to being the monarch

Rudy Giuliani, a former New York City mayor and personal lawyer to US President Donald Trump, has said that the king of England might be a Muslim and that Muslims "wanna take over" Britain, calling the Quran a "cult of death".

Giuliani made the outburst in an interview on British journalist Piers Morgan's YouTube show on Monday, while arguing in favour of the US-Israeli war on Iran.

"I have people from England telling me you're gonna be a Muslim country in 10 years," he told Morgan.

He said that "the Roman Catholic church is bigger now in England than the Anglican church. And Charles III might be the Muslim monarch of England."

The notion that the king is secretly Muslim is a popular online conspiracy theory.

Charles, the head of the Church of England, is known to be a great admirer of Islam, and even learnt Arabic in order to read the Quran.

Charles has previously argued that Islam, Judaism and Christianity are three great monotheistic religions that have far more in common than is generally appreciated.

Giuliani told Morgan that Muslims in Britain are "taking over and they wanna take over, and it's their aim. And Iran is the fuel behind that. You take out the Islamic Republic of Iran, the whole thing moves in the other direction."

By contrast, Charles has previously described Britain’s Muslim communities as an "asset to Britain", who "add to the cultural richness of our nation".

Told by Morgan that "only five percent of the UK is Muslim", Giuliani responded: "Doesn't matter. They have tremendous power. How many mayoralities do they have? A large number."

There are several elected mayors in Britain who are Muslim, including the mayor of London, Sadiq Khan.

Now, I have argued that Europe, and Great Britain in particular, is Islamizing to its detriment, but I traced that failure more to the increasing atheism and expanding technocratic post-humanism that characterize the elite.

But then, there's this...

King Charles III, who changed his coronation vow from "Defender of the Faith" to "Defender of All Faiths," is choosing not to give an Easter message.

Say what? The Supreme Head of the Church of England spoke to Muslims on the celebration of Eid, but refuses to give Christians an Easter statement to the faithful of the Church he heads.

Suddenly, a ridiculous conspiracy theory begins to make more sense.

So I looked it up, and King Charles did give a message during the Easter season last year on Maundy Thursday, but he did not focus solely on Christianity; he addressed all the Abrahamic religions

In the message, the King spoke about Jesus, stating: "On Maundy Thursday, Jesus knelt and washed the feet of many of those who would abandon Him.

"His humble action was a token of His love that knew no bounds or boundaries and is central to Christian belief."

King Charles, 77, also spoke about Judaism and Islam, adding: "The love He showed when He walked the Earth reflected the Jewish ethic of caring for the stranger and those in need, a deep human instinct echoed in Islam and other religious traditions, and in the hearts of all who seek the good of others."

In February, the King and Queen's social media account came under fire for issuing Muslims in the UK, the Commonwealth and around the world a “blessed and peaceful Ramadan” on the same day as Shrove Tuesday.

The message was accompanied by a graphic reading “Ramadan Mubarak”, an Arabic phrase meaning “Blessed Ramadan”.

Charles does spend an inordinate amount of time praising Muslims.

Rumors about Charles converting to Islam have been around for a while, but rumors about the royal family are a dime a dozen. That's why it is so easy to dismiss them. And, as some pointed out, the Queen was undeniably Christian to the core and she didn't exactly shout from the rooftops in Easter messages.

But when the King prioritizes Islam over the Church he supposedly heads, that should raise some eyebrows.
