Not Shocking: Poll Shows AOC Voters Don't Like America, Prefer Foreign Countries

Scott Rasmussen still does polling, even though he left Rasmussen Reports and now runs RMG Research. One of his big loves is working for The Napolitan Institute, which he founded to do deep dives into Americans' real attitudes rather than the ones revealed by the flawed and often motivated polling done today. 

His goal is to "amplify the voice of the American people," rather than just gather data for politicians so they can more easily manipulate people for votes or to change their attitudes through framing issues. 

It does interesting work, with a more populist tinge, based on what seems to me to be a deep skepticism about the direction our politics have taken in recent years. 

Obviously, as part of that work his polling dives deep into the attitudes of various groups, as well as the larger trends in the larger population, and his most recent polling shows something quite interesting, disturbing, and unfortunately unsurprising.

Voters on the left wing of the Democratic Party are not that fond of America, and, as I often argue, have attitudes far more akin to Europeans than most Americans. France is more their cup of tea, which is pretty amusing, since the French are having enormous political and economic problems, and are now seen as the sick man of Europe. 

Unsurprisingly, they also view the UK quite favorably, as the country is riven by massive differences between the political elite and ordinary Britons. They view Germany less favorably but still favor it more than the United States. 

Democrats only have any sort of sentimental attachment to America when they feel like they have total ideological control over it because they’re Liberals, and Liberals ultimately have no nation of their own.

This mirrors a larger trend among Democrats: they only like America when they run it. What seems to distinguish the socialist wing of the Party is that they don't even like America that much when the Democratic Party has the power, because they think it is systemically flawed and its political and economic systems must be replaced.

You will notice that in the Gallup polling, Republicans' pride in their country is not determined by whether they have political power at any moment, because their pride is directed at the system, not the people in office. This is a fundamentally different way of viewing what makes America America. 

Evidently, according to the New Yorker, to be patriotic is to be "problematic". You see, if you think this nation has been an instrument of good in the world, far more than one of evil, then you are a "problem". If you are patriotic, then obviously there is something wrong…

For the Democrats, they must crush out this patriotism, because it is their "problem".   American citizens who are patriotic, will not vote Democrat... the party that shows, time and time again, that they do not want this nation, and only want to change it into something that has them in charge, telling the subjects what they can say, what they can eat, who they can be friends with... total control.   You know, things that are anti-American.  

With the approaching 250th anniversary of this nation you will see more and more articles like this.  Back in the 1950s, there was the "red scare", a belief that communists would infiltrate Hollywood and academia and turn our children's minds against us.  

Surprise, they were wildly successful.

If you look at the most prominent Democratic candidates this election cycle, who are among the AOC/Mamdani wing of the Democrats, the unifying trend is a deep-seated distrust of the country or even outright hatred. An al-Qaeda operative just won the nomination for a Congressional seat in New Jersey, in the district where American hero Scott Beamer is laid to rest.

This is Todd “Let’s Roll” Beamer, who died heroically while trying to retake United Flight 93 from Al Qaeda terrorists on 9/11. His final resting place, is in Cranbury, NJ — where he was living with his wife and children before his murder. Cranbury is located in NJ-12, where the new Democratic nominee for Congress is Adam Hamawy.

Hamawy was a close associate and translator to Omar Abdel-Rahman, aka the ‘Blind Sheikh,’ an arch terrorist convicted of masterminding multiple plots against targets in NYC — including the World Trade Center. Hamawy testified at Adbel-Rahman’s trial, as a defense witness. 

It has also been reported that Hamawy traveled to Bosnia to volunteer at an organization that was later unmasked as an Al Qaeda front group. 

One of Hamawy’s loudest and most high-profile supporters and endorsers has openly declared that America deserved the 9/11 attacks. 

Hamawy is now the prohibitive frontrunner to represent Todd Beamer’s district in the United States Congress.

New York City's mayor himself is a Hamas supporter and Islamist who campaigned at a Mosque run by radical clerics who are quite open about their disdain for all things Jewish and Western. 

And then there is Graham Platner. 

Hasan Piker is a hero to this part of the Democratic movement, and Luigi Mangione is revered by many in this group. 

It's not just the political system that is despised by the socialist wing of the Democratic Party, but Americans themselves. That, I think, is an even stronger sense among this group than the hatred of capitalism and Liberalism. They believe that Americans who disagree with them are fascist and should be replaced, explaining their preference for open borders and what they call the "Global South," a Marxist term for the Third World.

This year, a large number of Democrats plan to boycott the 250th anniversary celebrations because of Donald Trump. Artists who were going to play a concert at the National Mall have been backing out because they despise Donald Trump, as if America is only fit to exist if leftists run the country.
