Dem donors: take all my money. https://t.co/XCEFbcToxI
Ed: Democrats have turned themselves into the pro-political-violence party. They are no longer hiding it. Will that sell with voters? Er ...

Variety: Even Paul Thomas Anderson’s “One Battle After Another,” led by Leonardo DiCaprio, struggled to break out despite being hailed as a generational masterpiece. Though the global haul of $140 million is impressive for a film that’s original, R rated and nearly three hours long, “One Battle” requires roughly $300 million to break even. That’s because Warner Bros. spent more than $130 million on production and $70 million on promotional efforts, and ticket sales are typically split 50-50 between studios and theater operators. Meanwhile DiCaprio typically gets first-dollar gross on his movies, meaning he gets a percentage of box office revenues before the studio recoups any costs.
Ed: For those who don't already know, this film celebrates political violence in part aimed at immigration enforcement. Even with A-listers pushing to normalize political violence, it's not selling.

NY Post: Mayoral frontrunner Zohran Mamdani happily campaigned with a popular Brooklyn Imam who is an unindicted co-conspirator in the 1993 World Trade Center bombing — and whose son once ran a terrorist camp for kids.
The Democratic nominee appears in a photo posted to X laughing and grinning, standing arm-in-arm with Imam Siraj Wahhaj and City Councilmember Yusef Salaam at Wahhaj’s Bed-Stuy mosque to celebrate the weekly Muslim prayer.
“Today at Masjid At-Taqwa, I had the pleasure of meeting with Imam Siraj Wahhaj, one of the nation’s foremost Muslim leaders and a pillar of the Bed-Stuy community for nearly half a century,” Mamdani wrote Friday on X. ...
The religious figure was fingered by prosecutors as an “unindicted co-conspirator” in the 1993 World Trade Center bombing, which left six people dead — and had publicly defended the plotters of the attack against the FBI and CIA, which he at the time dubbed the “real terrorists.”
Ed: How do NYC Democrats plan to see a mayor who pals around with someone involved in terrorism that targeted their city? Good Lord. Kathy Hochul has endorsed Mamdani, and she should be asked immediately whether she also wants the pleasure of the company of terror supporters.

Corpulent Jerk George Conway seen marching at the "No Kings" rally in Atlanta wearing a "I am ANTIFA" t-shirt. Now George admits to belonging to an illegal terrorist organization. pic.twitter.com/AtQs8kbjP2

Ed: So he admits that there is an Antifa, and that he supports it? When the RICO indictments start dropping, Conway may live to regret it. However, this is hardly the most humiliating part of the day for Conway ....

Newsmax: The unnamed pink-haired protester said participants were instructed by a higher order to keep demonstrations peaceful.
"We've all been told to be peaceful," she told Austin with her back to the camera. "We've had training on how to be peaceful and to deescalate." ...
Organizers from groups including Democratic Socialists of America joined the protest, which remained calm as it got underway near the National Mall — with festive music playing in what House Speaker Mike Johnson and President Donald Trump have rebuked as "anti-America protests."
While the thus-far-peaceful protest is a positive development, along with the vow to remain peaceful, the talk of training is a development that flies in the face of activists' claims there is not an organized anti-fascist movement with a command and control structure.
Ed: Of COURSE this has all been organized. These are Barack Obama's "community organizers," doing exactly what they have done for the past two decades. That part is not only not illegal, it's not even under question. The question has been whether Antifa has connections to these same organizers and to the same funders. And for the first time ever, the federal government has a vested interest in determining the answers to those questions.

Newsbusters: Saturday was a day that ended in Y, which meant it was time for MSNBC host Ali Velshi and philosophy professor, media hero, and professional crazy person Jason Stanley to compare Republicans to Nazis. This time, the GOP’s offense was calling far-left No Kings rally attendees Marxists.
Velshi set the table by claiming talk about Antifa is actually just a sinister plot to arrest people like him and Stanley, “So, let's talk a little bit about what they're saying these rallies are, or what protest against this government is. They're calling them ‘hate America rallies.’ They're calling them Antifa, which is an interesting concept, because if you have an undefined group like Antifa and you call everybody Antifa, then all of us can be arrested as Antifa.
The fact that Velshi is still on the air and Stanley was not detained on his return from Toronto should confirm those remarks as nothing but hysteria.
Ed: The fact that Velshi is still on the air demonstrates the resistance to market forces in the Protection Racket Media. But yes, Alex Christy's point is valid, as is the criticism of a "No Kings" rally to protest the results of the most recent election of a president in a republic. These thin-skinned Marxists want a free pass from criticism and accountability, and these rallies today are nothing more than a childish tantrum about losing an election.

Fox News: Soros, a billionaire investor and notorious Democratic Party donor, is founder of the Open Society Foundations.
In 2023, the foundation, through the Open Society Action Fund, issued a two-year grant of $3 million to the Indivisible organization. The grant was "to support the grantee's social welfare activities," according to the Open Society Foundation's website.
Indivisible is "managing data and communications with participants" for the "No Kings" protests that will be taking place in Washington and across the country.

Ed: As I said above, it's not selling -- because the radical fringe is both radical and fringe. No one's buying into the idea that the US is on the verge of a monarchy or a dictatorship just because the person who won the election is doing what he promised to do during the campaign. This is why Democrats find themselves on the 20 side of 80/20 issues for the electorate, especially on immigration, crime, and the economy. The hippies have lost, as was foretold thirty years ago ...
