Welcome to our VIP feature for Hot Air as well as a members-only show in the Hughniverse! Duane Patterson and I now are doing a Week in Review show for Friday evenings, exclusive to members in both platforms. Duane has been the Generalissimo behind the Hugh Hewitt Show for more than two decades, and we have partnered on weekly commentary since 2007.

What stories topped your priority lists this week? Duane warned that it would likely take most of the show to unwind the Graham Platner saga this week, and he turned out to be correct. Rumors swirled all week that the New York Times had a bombshell story about to drop involving claims from multiple women about violent encounters. By the time it dropped, however, it began to look more like a hit job on the victims. How did the NYT run interference for a Nazi-tatted creep? Is "believe all women" dead because it's (D)ifferent this time?

Duane and I also discuss M-SNOW's attempts to promote the modified limited hangout for Platner. Chris Hayes' disinterest in "forensics" apparently extends to basic math and calendar reviews in his haste to vindicate Platner. We note the very (D)ifferent standard applied by M-SNOW, the NYT, and Democrats when it comes to believing women, especially when it comes to the evidentiary balance. Why are Democrats throwing Janet Mills under the bus for this guy? We have our theories, but mine is better than Duane's. I kid, I kid ...

Finally, we get to the war in Iran, the new jobs numbers, and the midterm polling near the end. Are Republicans on the cusp of a comeback? Stay tuned.

Be sure to watch it all, and extend the conversation in the comments!
