Is Deportation Compassionate?

America is the last best hope of mankind. To show true compassion globally, we should work to transplant the ideas that made it that way.

Democrats have moved heaven and earth to prevent the administration from deporting aliens who arrived here illegally. They are literally holding up national security protection during wartime to defund immigration control and border protection. To hear them tell it (in public), U.S. immigration policy should be governed by compassion.

We learned back in 2018, though, from the infamous Jennifer Palmieri memo, that Democrat immigration policy actually is governed by a desire for new Democrat voters. “The fight to protect Dreamers is not only a moral imperative; it is also a critical component of the Democratic Party’s future electoral success,” she wrote.

We knew that already, and it applies not just to the so-called Dreamers but to every illegal immigrant. But let’s look at their claim about compassion.
