A woman has reported seeing a Bigfoot-like creature in Calcasieu Parish, according to a well-known Bigfoot researcher.
The Bigfoot Field Researchers Organization, led by TV personality Matt Moneymaker, lists a “Class A” report “very large dark thing standing upright” near her property by the confluence of the Houston River and Calcasieu River West Fork north of Westlake.
According to BPRO, Class A reports “involve clear sightings in circumstances where misinterpretation or misidentification of other animals can be ruled out with greater confidence.”
The woman making the report was identified only as “E.M.” There were no other witnesses.
The report said the incident took place at 8 p.m. April 14, in a Cypress and Palmetto swamp off of a canal leading to the West Fork and Houston Rivers adjacent to Sam Houston State Park.
