Woman Allegedly Dumped Trash At Knicks Parade ID'd As JPMorgan Chase DEI Exec, Gets Fired

According to a report from the New York Post, a woman who was seen on video allegedly dumping and stealing a trash can at the Knicks championship parade in New York City has been identified as a JPMorgan Chase director and was fired from her job Tuesday as a result of the situation.

The 40-year-old Angie Baez was given a promotion over a year ago to become JPMorgan Chase’s Executive Director of Community and Industry Engagement for Card and Connected Commerce, per her profile on LinkedIn via the New York Post

Previously, Baez worked for The Infatuation, a review website based in New York, as its Executive Director of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion. Chase purchased The Infatuation to expand its content in the experiential and lifestyle realms.

According to the New York Post, who cited sources, JPMorgan Chase reviewed the situation following the footage surfacing and a spokesperson from the bank said to the outlet, “This employee is no longer with the company.”
