Proving again that there’s nothing — nothing! — they can’t blame on the Jews, lefties are claiming the bum-rush of 50,000 people across the Morocco/Spanish border was an Israeli plot.
Top DSA influencer and 9/11 enthusiast Hasan Piker, between campaign stops for socialist insurgents in Democratic primaries, told his Twitch audience: “Israel and America got the Moroccan government to send like 40,000 people into Spanish administered territory.”
Why and how did Israel manage that, Hasan? “I dunno, man,” he explained with his usual insight. “It’s not my damn fault.”
But it’s not just the puerile podcaster pushing this poppycock: Kenneth Roth, the longtime head of Human Rights Watch, thinks he knows Israel’s motive for supposedly tricking 50,000 Moroccans into climbing barbed-wire fences to invade Ceuta.
Spain, Roth explains, “controls both sides” of the Strait of Gibraltar and could “potentially block Israeli access to the Atlantic,” just as Iran blocked the Strait of Hormuz — so it makes sense that Jerusalem wants its nominal ally Morocco in charge of Gibraltar-adjacent Ceuta.
