FBI Director Kash Patel just released video of a suspect in the kidnapping of Nancy Guthrie. Patel explained the video was recovered from "residual data" left on the doorbell camera. First some stills taken from the video.

New images in the search for Nancy Guthrie:

Over the last eight days, the FBI and Pima County Sheriff’s Department have been working closely with our private sector partners to continue to recover any images or video footage from Nancy Guthrie’s home that may have been lost, corrupted, or inaccessible due to a variety of factors - including the removal of recording devices. The video was recovered from residual data located in backend systems.

Working with our partners - as of this morning, law enforcement has uncovered these previously inaccessible new images showing an armed individual appearing to have tampered with the camera at Nancy Guthrie's front door the morning of her disappearance.

And here are three short videos of the suspect.

Clearly this guy is up to no good. He walks in to the covered entry with his head down to hide his face. He covers the doorbell camera with his gloved hand and then uses some plants from the front yard to cover the lens.

Some on X are saying this looks like a woman. I don't think so. I can't tell much about his face except that he appears to have a mustache and a beard which is visible under the mask in some of the stills.

Others are pointing out a gun in a holster.

Savannah Guthrie posted one of the images on her Instagram account with the caption "We believe she is still alive. Bring her home." She then include phone numbers for the FBI and the Pima County Sheriff’s Department. A second Instagram post reads, "Someone out there recognizes this person. We believe she is still out there. Bring her home."

Hopefully, someone is going to be able to identify that backpack. Someone tried and came up with Osprey. That could be the stitching on the back but the design doesn't seem to match up with the current models listed here.

Nailing that down might help a bit. Also the jacket.

Some people are posting AI renderings of the face minus the mask but I don't think that is trustworthy enough and don't want to be part of identifying the wrong person.

The White House account is helping to spread the photos.

President Trump is personally following this.

This is going to get a lot of eyeballs in the next few hours. Plus there's a reward for information. Hopefully this leads to a new break in the case soon. This isn't the biggest story happening in the world obviously but it would be nice to see a positive resolution for one thing happening this month.
