Annals of AWFL Excess: If It's ICEy, Burn It Down MORE

So far, we've had AWFLs blocking Immigration Customs and Enforcement (ICE) officers, the entire episodes captured on video repeatedly.

Sometimes their antics end, for all the embellished histrionics afterward, with the miscreant snatched up after pushing the envelope and officers' patience too far.

...Instead, she remained at the location, continued to impede our officers, and found out the hard way.

18 U.S.C. § 111 criminalizes impeding or interfering with federal officers.

Fortunately, it has only once ended truly badly, as in the Renee Good case. That is a testament to the professionalism and forbearance of these law enforcement officers, who are dealing with the most unhinged lunatics under tremendously difficult circumstances.

There's always the protected class acting out.

But unsurprisingly to anyone who has to deal with one at any given hour of the day, the worst offenders are the Affluent White Female Liberals (AWFL) who have taken to harassing ICE as if it were a religious crusade.

I mean, these women are taking classes that give them some sense of collective immunity from being wrong.

If they're really super lucky, they get to hear AOC!

SQUEEEE!

Some of the graduates are still kind of surprised when they get arrested, having passed their 'Legal Observer Course' and all.

But most of them are just there to rumble.

So what's an AWFL to do, who kind of has no really active ICE enforcement going on in her city that she can get involved in, but she still wants to make her mark?

You know, really flip off the man? Strike a blow for the people?

Why, the first second rumors arise about a contract for a possible ICE facility in town, you do what any good agitator would do - get in your hybrid and go try to burn that mother down.

YEAH, BABY

The company that owns the building was, like, hang on a gol darned minute here!

Put the frickin' BicFlic up!

The company involved with the sale of a rumored detention center in south Kansas City said it has chosen "not to move forward" with a sale to U.S. government.

Platform Ventures, an investment firm based in Kansas City, owns the property known as 49 Crossing. Rumors began to swirl in January about the site's potential future as an immigration detention center. At the time, Platform Ventures said in a statement that it didn't discuss sales or question prospective buyers, but that negotiations had been completed.

Port KC meeting documents at the end of January seemed to verify the reports, noting it had learned Platform Ventures planned to sell the property to the federal government. Port KC later voted to cut ties with the company, though Port KC made it clear it was not involved in the sale and could not stop it.

But Platform Ventures set the record straight, issuing a statement Feb. 12 after "baseless speculation, inaccurate narratives and serious threats toward leadership" led the company to address the property and sale.

"Platform Ventures is not actively engaged with the U.S. Government or any other prospective purchaser involving a sale of its property at the I-49 Industrial Center," Platform Ventures said.

The Kansas City, MO, Police Department said 'no description was available' of the woman who walked up and then lit off something that looked like charcoal lighter fluid she'd sprayed on the windows.

The Kansas City, Missouri, Police Department is looking for a woman who allegedly set fire to a south KCMO warehouse that had been considered for use as an ICE detention center.

Witnesses said a woman walked up to the building located at 14901 Botts Road, sprayed something on the building, and set that substance on fire just before 5:50 p.m. Thursday.

KCFD firefighters were called and put out the fire before it had a chance to spread.

The woman left the scene after starting the fire, according to police.

No description of the woman who set the fire was available as of Thursday night.

I don't know about you, but I can tell enough about what she looks like to give a basic description just from watching the video.

But it sounds to me as if the cats running that town want nothing to do with ICE and are just as happy to let sleeping arsonists lie.

... "I am outraged by federal efforts to place 10,000 human beings in cages inside distribution warehouses in Kansas City or anywhere else in the country," Kansas City, Missouri, Mayor Quinton Lucas said Friday. "I'll trust the courts, our local prosecutors and law enforcement in Kansas City to handle the offender."

Encourage AWFL arsonists at your peril, mayor.

If they'll try to torch a warehouse at the first hint of an ICE-related rumor, imagine what they'd do if some other bee got in their deranged bonnets.

There's no guarantee it'll be the bee you want them mad at.

And MORE: I can't even.

They're impossible and insufferable lunatics.
