And Sarah Huckabee Sanders Gets Asked to Remove Herself From Another Woke Restaurant MORE

Man, it's hard to believe these dreary virtue-signaling fascists are still doing this, but here we are.

Tantrum at The Croissanterie time.

...Sarah Huckabee Sanders, the governor of Arkansas and former White House press secretary, says she was having lunch with two mom friends at a restaurant called The Croissanterie in Little Rock when the owner kicked them out. Her presence at the restaurant, the owner told the governor, made the employees feel “threatened and uncomfortable” because of her political views. As they left, she was given the middle finger.

...For Sanders, it was more surprising to have it happen in her home state of Arkansas. She told The Daily Wire on Tuesday night that the only people to talk to her during her just over an hour meal at The Croissanterie came over to thank her for the work she was doing in the state. By the time they were booted, they had already eaten and paid.

When her security detail was informed that they were being asked to leave, she decided that they’d leave without making a scene. But then the group started shouting, “It’s time to leave,” and giving her the middle finger in front of other guests.

'The group' who'd felt so threatened by the governor's lunch with her girlfriends and then recovered from their fear enough to wish the ladies such a classy farewell is this bunch.

Now, this strikes a just a tad on the bizarre side, because if Huckabee-Sanders found gays so personally offensive that they should feel 'threatened' by her mere presence, I don't really think she'd voluntarily be eating in an establishment with servers who were obviously gay, as the owners also seem to be, if she found their lifestyle to be such anathema.

She doesn't strike me as that kind of person.

Interestingly enough, this owner, who is surely a profile in lesbian resistance courage, let Sanders sit down. Eat.

Pay for everything.

Before her staff got to publicly abuse the governor and her friends, who'd not offered a single offence but their time and money eating at and supporting this establishment.

I did not hear there was a refund involved either.

Huckabee-Sanders was her usual gracious self when the Daily Wire story got out about the incident.

The restaurant's had time to craft a bit of narrative now. I don't know that it's going to work. It sure sounds forced to me and makes little sense.

..."When we became aware that the governor had arrived at the restaurant announced, we were surprised and uncertain how best to respond. By the time we entered the dining room, she was already seated and eating. At that point, we chose not to interrupt, expecting that the party would complete their meal and depart without issue.

However, as the presence of her security detail became more widely noticed, by both employees and guests, questions were raised about them remaining in the restaurant. As business owners and members of this community, we recognized that any course of action carried consequences. Allowing her to stay risked being perceived as a lack of support for the community that makes up the majority of our team, as well as their families and friends. Conversely, asking her to leave could be viewed as denying service based on differing beliefs.

Ultimately, we made the decision to support our employees and guests who expressed they were uncomfortable. To clarify, we do not recall any statements indicating that anyone felt threatened.

Approximately one hour into the visit, a member of the security detail was quietly approached and asked to encourage the governor to conclude her visit, as she had finished dining. Beverages were offered to the party for the road. Nearly 30 minutes later, the party remained on the premises.

As the 90-minute table seating limit approached, the security detail was approached a second time and informed that approximately 10 minutes remained. Around this time, another customer attempted to involve themselves in the situation and was asked to step away.

After reviewing camera footage, we confirmed that a member of the security detail did send a message to the governor following the initial request; however, it was not seen at that time. Once the message was received, she and her party departed without incident.

It is also important to note that many guests in the main dining room were unaware of the situation, and there was no applause or disruption as has been suggested. Additionally, the individual who made an inappropriate hand gesture was a customer – not an employee – and the matter has been addressed.

We regret being placed in this position and having to make a difficult decision. However, we stand by our choice to support our employees and guests."

It's hard to get much more tortured language than that. YMMV

All I can say is, 'a guest' was responsible for the hand gesture?

Again, this is what those lovely employees of the eatery immediately posted, so...

...I'm not buying the guest flipped the bird in the tailpipe story.

Then again, I'm such a cynic.

Anyway, it always strikes me as peculiar how the ones who shriek about hate the loudest are always the quickest to act out in the most hateful fashion.

The smug little ringleader of the employees there is one sick little monkey, and now all his demented posts are being exposed, so I hope he's happy with his instant fame.

As for the restaurant and the concept of supporting quivering guests and triggered employees who feel 'uncomfortable', aka threatened by benign paying customers who have offered no offense whatsoever other than being who they are, it's a great gig if you can keep it going.

The Red Hen in Lexington [fixed!] was a celebrated liberal hero for throwing Sanders out in Trump's first term. Woo-hoo.

Maybe a history refresher would be a good thing for intolerant types who own businesses in general, like the two who own The Croissanterie. And their delightful 'nothing can ever take our smiles away' staff.

A tale as old as thyme - don't be evil.

It's not hard.

Beege ADDS: Holy smokes, I hope this moment of righteous virtue-signaling about the governor's 'threatening' lunch at their special little thin-skinned restaurant was worth it.

Because, for being such a dire threat to the LGBT Alphabet soup sex cult community in Little Rock, Sarah Sanders sure seems like she was awfully benign in real life.

Maybe even supportive of local businesses regardless of who the owners slept with. What a concept.

Oh, my goodness, I have to bite back every bite of bile I want to spew right now and let these hate-filled freaks sink themselves.

God knows they're doing a fine job of it.
