I'm Not Sure Democrats Need the Commie-Hamas Wing of the Party to Help Sink Them

There is so much wrong with today's Democratic Party, it's hard to pick out any one thing. Fortunately, we have lots of time and space to rip them to shreds and back again.

Lately, all the news has been about the rise of the communist wing, barely disguised as benevolent socialists. But anyone with half a brain - granted, that leaves out a significant amount of (D) voters, but still - is able to recognize the thin veneer that these radicals operate behind.

That's when they haven't decided to do away with pretense completely and boldly tell you to your face who they are, why you suck, and why their mission is to take your country from you.

From their blustering, posturing agent provocateurs...

...to the hate-filled whackjob nepo babies they run for office...

...everywhere...

...The anti-Israel Gen-Z socialist who ousted 15-term Colorado rep Diana DeGette (D-Colo.) has called for more immigrants to be elected into office so America’s “exploitative” role on the world stage can be combated.

Ethiopian-born Ph.D student Melat Kiros – who wildly claimed the elimination of Israel isn’t antisemitic – told Denver’s Wa-Ela Tigray diaspora gathering earlier this month there needs to be “more people who have heritage in the global south.”

Kiros, a member of the radical Democratic Socialists of America, spoke about the challenges of being an insurgent candidate before warning those already in power they have a responsibility to make it easier for their successors when it comes to running for office.

...alongside the flat-out mentally ill for comedic effect, you'd think the clowncar was full.

...the username “sparky603,” stating that he ovulates and experiences monthly periods — claiming the blood exits through his anus due to having “external male parts” instead of “the proper hole.”

Despite being biologically male (XY karyotype), Webb insists he is “pretty positive” he is XX and believes he possesses hidden female internal organs, though CAT scans and colonoscopies have found no evidence of a uterus or related structures.

There were already enough...I guess I could kindly call them 'personalities' in the party without the Democratic Socialists of America vermin. The Maisie Hironos, the Auntie Maxines, the Al Greens, and pretentious blowhards of little substance producing copious vapor like Van Hollen, Blumenthal, and Markey.

But the Democrats have had success in spite of these buffoons, although it did slip measurably alongside Kamala's campaign in 2024. What has helped keep them afloat were the regular Congressmen who never really figured out TikTok or X, and just did what their district wanted to get reelected. They knew whose babies to kiss and what legislation to vote on for their citizens.

I am wondering if that tiny core is breaking down after watching a video of NY-3 Representative Tom Suozzi, who slipped back into Congress after winning the special election for George Santos' seat.

After listening to who used to be the rep for a working class district, I am wondering if he hit his head, or if he's starting to crack under some unseen progressive Hamas-wing pressure.

There has to be an explanation, because there's no way a rational person says something like this.

WHUT

This is a gobsmacking admission and an utterly suicidal way of framing whatever point it was he was trying to make.

I wonder if half his constituents even had a clue what was in what he had voted against until he personally laid out how he screwed them over.

It seems especially bizarre as Suozzi was the architect of something called The Promise to America, an attempt rolled out about three weeks ago to roll back to the Democrat platform and party of old. A collaborative effort to wrest the party and the narrative away from the communists in the middle of their takeover.

The Promise to America is a set of six principles: capitalism, safety, fiscal responsibility, effective government, common purpose, and patriotism. It is designed to align the Democratic Party around the values and priorities in which the broad majority of Americans believe.

The Promise was developed collaboratively between a team of fellows and Congressmen Tom Suozzi (NY-03) and Adam Gray (CA-13), the only two Democrats to flip Trump-won districts in the 2024 cycle.

...Americans see Democrats as being extreme and out of touch. 70% of voters say they're dissatisfied with Democrats, and only 39% say the party has the right priorities. Even within the party, 52% of Democratic voters think Democrats should move to the center on issues in general, compared to only 25% who think they should move further left. On immigration, 46% of Democratic voters want the party to move to the center, versus 27% who want it to move left; on crime, that split is 50% to 19%.

The Democratic Party has lost sight of what has helped it govern and lead successfully historically. Roosevelt raised the floor. Truman rebuilt the middle class. Kennedy dreamt big. Johnson made government work for everyone. Clinton balanced the budget. Going into 2026 and 2028, Democrats have a real chance to prove to voters that we have their backs. The Promise will do just that, providing a positive vision for our country rooted in our American values. We are working to bring Democrats back to the basics of what has made it the party of hardworking people across America.

Did he forget he wrote that?

On immigration, he says, 'the party wants to 'move to the center' as he advocates for extending the Temporary Protected Status of some 200,000 El Salvadorans.

Real patriotic.

As far as championing the principles of fiscal responsibility and capitalism, I notice he doesn't list integrity, which is just as well.

I'm not sure he has any.

The video must have been made as some sort of weaselly explanation for a big fat lie Suozzi got caught in that's running in one of his campaign ads.

I WAS FOR IT WHILE I VOTED AGAINST IT

Republicans demanded TV stations stop airing a political ad that praises Long Island Rep. Tom Suozzi for expanding state and local tax deductions — even though he voted against the “One Big Beautiful Bill.”

The hubbub started from a pro-Suozzi Super PAC ad that shows a Huntington man identifying himself as “Bob the Baker” bid praising Suozzi for expanding SALT on federal income tax returns from $10,000 to $40,000 for households making under $500,000.

“As a small business guy, I always look at the fine print, and let me tell you, Tom Suozzi’s plan is the real deal,” the baker says in the clip, which was paid for by the Effective Governing Coalition, which supports moderate Democrats.

“When Washington politicians raised our taxes by taking away our fair share of the state and local tax deduction, Suozzi said, ‘No way,'” the man adds in the 30-second ad.

“Suozzi fought like hell to lower our taxes and increased the SALT deduction, meaning more money back in our pockets. Tell Tom Suozzi to keep fighting.”

Tom Suozzi is misleading Long Islanders to believe he fought for a tax break that he voted against, not once, but twice,” NRCC Spokeswoman Maureen O’Toole said. “If he has to rewrite his record to win reelection, it’s because he knows voters don’t like the real one.”

Who needs the crazies when the bread-and-butter guys are perfectly capable of sabotaging themselves all on their own?

Republicans are looking at this seat as a chance for a pick-up, and I hope Suozzi keeps talking.

He doesn't even have to be crazy - just being himself will do.
