SPLC Funded 'Unite the Right' Rally That Spawned 'Fine People' Hoax

Everything the average Democrat believes about America and Republicans is based on a series of hoaxes.

The most obvious case, of course, was the Steele Dossier, upon which the decade-long hate campaign against Donald Trump has been based, along with every accusation that he is a tool of Russia.

It was just made up out of whole cloth, and became gospel for millions of Democrats who, to this day, believe it in their bones.

We already knew that the "fine people" hoax was based on the lie that Trump called white supremacists "fine people," instead of, as he did, condemning them. But until yesterday, we didn't know that the white supremacists who marched in Charlottesville and whose protest led to the death of one person were bused there on the Southern Poverty Law Center's dime, and were organized to be there by an SPLC "informer."

The SPLC is one of the most powerful NGOs in the country. They have had the power to direct the federal government to go after groups and people. They had their grips on the censorship industry. They tell social media companies who should be silenced and who should be promoted. Local law enforcement listens to them. The media treats their "hate map" as gospel.

Now we learn that the SPLC has been pouring money into the "hate groups" that it then highlights as proof that the right is filled with violent racists.

The SPLC helped plan and fund hate group events, and then highlighted the very marches and protests as proof that they needed donations to keep fighting hate groups, and as further proof that Republicans are a danger to America.

HOLY CRAP! FBI Director Patel says leftist NGO Southern Poverty Law Center, which has now been indicted, was using donor to pay leaders of the KU KLUX KLAN to stage "HATE CRIMES"

"They used the FRAUDULENTLY raised money by lying to their donor network—THOUSANDS of Americans—to go ahead and actually PAY the leadership of these supposed violent extremist groups.

"Furthermore, our investigation revealed that the Southern Poverty Law Center—on TOP of perpetuating this widespread decade-long multimillion dollar fraud—conducted more criminal activity.

They attempted to HIDE their criminal activity from our financial banking network.

They set up shell companies and entities around America so that the financial institutions that we rely on as everyday Americans were DECEIVED in believing that money was NOT coming from the Southern Poverty Law Center in the perpetration of this scheme and fraud, but rather fictitious entities they stood up to perpetuate this ongoing fraud."

Like everything with the Democratic Party, it is a scam. They are the Jussie Smollett of political parties. And, like Jussie Smollett, they will continue to insist that what is and always has been fake is in fact reality.

What makes the SPLC's funding and organization of the white supremacists at the 'Unite the Right' rally so notable, of course, is that it served as the absolute core of the most politically damaging hoax that permanently smeared Donald Trump as a moral monster. Scott Adams called it the "tentpole" hoax, because Americans have a visceral hatred of white supremacists, which is why Joe Biden specifically said that he was motivated to run for president to fight Donald Trump after the Charlottesville rally.

Before the 2020 election, Biden gave a speech at Gettysburg saying he decided to run for office again after the Charlottesville far-right rally in 2017. The rally was a galvanizing moment for leftists and Democrats, who campaigned and fundraised off it for years, claiming they needed power and money to stop white supremacy.

Biden’s White House met with SPLC officials at least 11 times after he won, according to visitor logs.

In the DOJ indictment against the SPLC, it was revealed that in addition to allegedly funding neo-Nazis and KKK members, the SPLC bankrolled one of the leaders of the Charlottesville rally and supervised his “racist” messaging.

The symbolism was compelling, especially to Democrats. As much as the Russia collusion hoax hurt Trump, it didn't have the visceral punch that the Unite the Right rally did, because it didn't smear Republicans with what, at the time, was the most powerful slur in American politics.

Two weeks after the Unite the Right Rally occurred, this is who donated to SPLC:

Publicly announced large gifts in the days following the rally:

•George and Amal Clooney: $1,000,000

•Apple / Tim Cook: $1,000,000

•JPMorgan Chase: $500,000 (to SPLC, split from $1M total with ADL)

•MGM Resorts: $1,000,000

They went from 65 million in donations to 130 million in donations.

I’m sure that’s just a coincidence.

For the SPLC, it was a two-fer. They were able to smear Donald Trump and all Republicans, and also able to double their revenues at a time when their donations were getting shaky. It was not a permanent fix for the group—their donations eventually started going down again, but getting a cash infusion of $65 million didn't hurt a bit. It only costs them a few million over a decade to create the impression that America is filled with white supremacists whom they needed to fight.

If you have no conscience and were happy to divide the nation and create the very hate they claimed to fight, it was a great strategy. A huge return on investment. That it has cost America its social peace is obviously no problem for the left. They want America divided, and black people in particular, to be frightened and keep voting Democrat.

The grift has been failing over time, because there is no more overused accusation than "Racist!" Conservatives are no longer moved by the accusation because it is now little more than a grunt meaning "I hate Republicans," but it has served to keep Democrats fired up.

AWFLs in particular thrive on being morally superior, and feeling morally superior to Nazis is very easy. The only people who don't feel morally superior to Nazis are actual Nazis, who are, ironically, popping up in the Democratic Party and being elevated to standard bearers, like Graham Platner.

Not that he calls himself a Nazi, of course. That would ruin the brand. But he has all the antisemitism and rage that you could want, and which is so effective for Democrats with their base.

One particular irony stands out: Republicans assumed that these guys were feds. Apparently not.

They are something worse: paid shills for the SPLC.

You can't make stuff like this up.
