Oh, gosh - weren't raging progressive tempers flaring after Jimmy Kimmel was unceremoniously stifled by, no, not finally overstepping the bounds of decency, which pissed off the country, major ABC affiliates, and infuriated his corporate bosses who had already been looking into deep-sixing his little vanity hour. Thanks entirely to what's known as market forces and Kimmel's lousy ratings.
Jimmy Kimmel’s future at ABC was up in the air even before his incendiary TV comments, multiple sources told Page Six.
The multimillionaire late-night host had just months left on his deal with Disney and was set to start negotiations with bigwigs later this year.
However, we’re told that ABC may have been getting ready to push him out after this season.
No.
According to recently constructed progressive doctrine, the supremely unfunny Kimmel was suspended from inflaming the public further by the forces of *checks notes* fascism and authoritarianism, aka Donald Trump.
Celebrities of small intellect took to social media to once again weep and gnash their perfect teeth over the horrors that are living in Amerikkka.
Kimmel's suspension sent 'SHOCKWAVES' across social media, don't you know.
News that “Jimmy Kimmel Live!” had been suspended indefinitely over a Charlie Kirk monologue sent shockwaves across social media Wednesday night.
ABC suspended Kimmel because of comments he made on the show in the wake of Kirk’s murder. The late-night host criticized Republican reactions to the political identity of Tyler Robinson, who is charged with killing him
Various celebrities, many of whom are close to Kimmel, condemned the silencing of the host with some issuing calls to organize against the network’s actions.
“Night of the Museum” star Ben Stiller reshared an X post sharing the news with the caption, “This isn’t right,” while “Community” actress Alison Brie wrote, “This is unreal. And very scary,” on her Instagram story.
They were 'horrified.'
And boldly announced they were canceling Disney+ streaming subscriptions. Now, that's taking a stand.
No more binge watching Little Mermaid in order to support Kimmel! No sacrifice is too much for freedom!
Howard Stern Says He Has Canceled Disney+ In Protest of Jimmy Kimmel Suspension
Little groups of protesters showed up across the country. If they couldn't actually be in front of Disneyland or the Kimmel studio...
...they did the next best thing, which was to find a little local ABC affiliate in their town to parade in front of with unfunny Kimmel support signs and shout at the air.
That's what went down in front of the ABC station in Sacramento last Thursday.
A group showed up, brought music to keep the protest jamming, and nobody thought any more of it than that.
The station did try to point out it's not actually owned by ABC, but none of these virtue-signalers cared. They were in a Save Jimmy and down with the fascists mood.
The protest came after “Jimmy Kimmel Live!” was taken off-air, following pressure from the Trump administration after remarks Kimmel had made related to the slaying of conservative activist Charlie Kirk last week in Utah. ABC, which is owned by Disney, halted production for the late night show Wednesday and said it would be “pre-empted indefinitely,” according to USA Today.
While Disney owns ABC, it does not own KXTV, Channel 10, an affiliate owned by Tegna. Nexstar Media Group, the owner of Fox 40 and nearly 200 stations coast to coast, recently announced it would acquire Tegna. The move would require FCC approval for the transfer of Tegna’s broadcasting licenses. Nexstar voiced criticism of Kimmel following his Monday night monologue that included a joke about Kirk’s accused killer.
Which everyone thought was the end of it until 1:30 Friday morning, when three bullets were fired into the station's lobby window.
And there were people in the building at the time.
Sacramento police confirmed three gunshots were fired at a local ABC station Friday, Sept. 19 amid nationwide outrage at the network's decision to suspend "Jimmy Kimmel Live!"
At least three bullets struck the ABC10 television station with one hitting the lobby window shortly around 1:30 p.m. local time, Sacramento Police Department Public Information Officer Anthony Gamble confirmed at a news conference.
There were no injuries despite the building being occupied at the time, according to Gamble.
Officer Gamble said the Sacramento cops were going to find out who'd done it.
..."We're going to figure out who's responsible for this," Gamble said Friday afternoon before the arrest. "Fortunately, we haven't had a lot of attacks on our media partners. We would like to keep it that way. This is unacceptable behavior. To those that may have been responsible for this, I hope you see this, we're not going to stop looking for you."
It wasn't long before they had the alleged culprit.
...64-year-old Anibal Hernandezsantana was arrested at a home in Sacramento, the Sacramento Police Department said on a X post early Saturday.
Hernandezsantana's charges include assault with a deadly weapon, shooting into an occupied building, and negligent discharge of a firearm, police said....
Who turned out to be an utter and classic Leftist nut case, complete with having been a teachers' union official.
They don't stack any drooling deviant dirtier than that.
The man suspected of firing 3 shots into the window of an ABC affiliate in California after the Kimmel decision is a former teacher's union legislative director whose X feed is full of far-left rhetoric encouraging escalation. pic.twitter.com/rxwVi7cg4u

Such a peach.
I think the word empathy, that made up New Age term, did a lot of damage to CK's carotid artery.

I mean, this guy has tons to dig through and hasn't bothered to expunge or delete any of it - that's how far gone he is.
...'Where is a good heart attack when we need it the most?? Please Join in my thoughts and prayers for the physical demise of our fearful leader,' one post read, seemingly talking about Trump.
The account further wished death on Trump in another post, seemingly making a tenuous connection between the president and Tyler Robinson, the suspect in Kirk's killing.
'I support the death penalty for Tyler Robinson. Absolutely, as soon as the fed criminal code is amended to add the death penalty for a president who refuses to step down after certified election results and/or incites an insurrection. This has been a PSA for democracy. Thank you,' the account wrote.
A day after Kirk was assassinated, the account posted a less-than-genuine tribute to the 31-year-old father-of-two.
'Our thoughts and prayers are with Charlie Kirk and his family. May the prudence of his cost-benefit analysis for 2A rights vs. school shootings live on forever,' the account wrote.
Santana studied regional and city planning at UC Berkeley and law at UC Law San Francisco, according to a Facebook profile matching the other social media accounts.
You know where else he was gone from?
Jail, less than 24 hours later.
They dropped a $200K bail on him, and boom. He was out Saturday afternoon.
Katy's explanation of why is mind-blowing. Then again, it's California.
The man arrested for 'allegedly' firing gunshots at the KXTV ABC TV station in Sacramento, California on Friday, has been released from custody.

...This is because his crime isn't considered violent in California.
With passage of Proposition 57 the following crimes in California are “non-violent” felonies: human trafficking, raping an unconscious person, drive-by shooting, assault with a deadly weapon or firearm, serial arson, exploding a bomb to injure people, solicitation to commit murder, and domestic violence.
Sacramento police confirmed the 64-year-old man from Sacramento, has posted bail.
This is my neighborhood.
I'm sure this lunatic isn't a threat to anyone, right?
Not like we haven't seen this movie a thousand times before, and all too often recently.
But there is a positive development, so don't give up in complete disgust yet.
The FBI rearrested him yesterday for violating the statute that covers 'interfering with the communications of a station licensed by the government.'
This is going to be interesting.
The FBI has taken into custody the suspect linked to the shooting into ABC10’s Sacramento station lobby under a federal hold for interference with licensed broadcasts.

Targeted acts of violence are unacceptable and will be pursued to the fullest extent of the law. pic.twitter.com/M9yy1tSjGv
Thank goodness Patel jumped on this violent loon immediately, and legally I might add.
Maybe this chance of consequences will cool a jet or two.
I surely hope so.
